Convert cake yeast to dry

Type active fresh, dry or instant yeast in any units - grams, ounces:
g oz tsp.
active fresh yeast: = =
dry yeast: = =
instant yeast: = =

This is basic converter, use information provided by manufacturer on the yeast label for best results. Most often 25g of active fresh yeast is the same as 8g of dry or 7g of instant yeast. For measure small values you can use LCD jewelry scale.

For measure eg. 0.1g of dry yeast (for eg. poolish pre-ferment) you can measure 1g next dissolve it in 10g water, then measure 1g of this mixture.
